At Pro-Se-Coach.com, our mission is simple: to empower self-represented litigants with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to navigate the legal system effectively.
We understand firsthand how overwhelming, confusing, and expensive legal battles can be. Our journey began during a high-conflict divorce and custody case that exposed the challenges many ordinary people face when trying to obtain a fair outcome in court. Despite diligently following court procedures and doing everything that was required, we discovered that understanding the legal system requires far more than simply showing up and telling your story.
That experience sparked more than a decade of dedicated legal study, research, advocacy, and hands-on experience working with self-represented litigants across a wide range of legal matters. Today, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, am pursuing a Master of Legal Studies degree, and am a certified ADA Advocate. I also collaborate with professionals in legal studies, business administration, and notarial practice who share a common goal: helping individuals better understand the legal process and become more effective advocates for themselves.
Why We Exist
The reality is that many people cannot afford the cost of traditional legal representation. Attorney fees can quickly reach thousands—or even tens of thousands—of dollars, placing meaningful access to justice out of reach for many families and individuals.
At the same time, self-represented litigants are often left to navigate complex court rules, procedural requirements, filing deadlines, and legal terminology with little guidance. Unfortunately, misinformation found online frequently causes people to make costly mistakes that can negatively impact their cases.
